Here's a customer's mount I did a few years ago. The customer sent me the photo (not the best). Doug's picture reminded me of it.

Here's a 10 inch bluefish I recently finished for a 70+ year old lady who recently has discovered fishing and has become my best repeating customer.  Molded and cast in-house.

Wow!!!

Rick, simply AMAZING!

Doug - ditto! I've seen this mount in person and it is indeed an incredible piece of work. Hard to tell from the low res pic but those are Sauger I believe??? Love the positioning on the ski.

Ditto to you Paul. Great postion and you captured the "shoulders" nicely on that pike.

Noah - never seen a bluefish so I can't comment but it looks nice to me!

Y'all said beginners were welcome so here it is. This is a 41 year old mount done by Touchstone Taxidermy out of Bosier city, Louisiana. I repainted it for a friend. I am still having difficulty with my detailing but now I have some retarder so hopefully that is behind me. It is an honor to post anything with the great mounts that show up here. Anyway, I would appreciate any feedback that will help me develop my painting skills.Thanks.

Nice fish!! Love the Pike and Muskie displays. Lot of work there. Still working on a show piece for this March (got my MTA certificate). Got a bass from Cecil and it's not quite done. Doug P, Can I ask you if the markings on your perch are pencil/steel wool or air brush? Very realistic.
