Steller's are not as rare as some ducks, but they aren't legal to hunt any more so they are playing hard to get.

I've really enjoyed this thread - some rare birds people simply cannot get - in that case - I just make one - this is a full re-creation using swan skin, sarus legs and bill, and molted tertials from my own cranes - I was quite pleased with the results -
