Dang Nice buck... Super pretty Black and silver cape... Good mass ... Hog of a neck on him... Double white patch... 7 1/2 by 23" neck....






























I just wanna cry...








Anybody want to do a real nice neck mount?

That Sucks!! I never had one like that but I've had them when they field dress them they cut through the brisket all they way to the neck, I hate it.

do the neck mount, but use a shoulder form a couple inches smaller on the neck circumference, then just cut the excess form off....I think you could pull the hide  down some, then use one of the McKenzie shoulder habitats and it would turn out good....not as good as if he'd caped it right, but I think you could be pull it off.
And it would be good practice for the rest of the messes that are likely to come in.

I bet a relative/friend who has a lot of experience with skinning/caping did that.  Beautiful cape ruined.
