I have been doing taxidermy for 38 years .I own and operate a missouri taxidermy school (missouritaxidermyschool.com). I am always doing the best I can to reach higher and get better at what I do. I have so many people too thank for helping me to get where I am at today.I have won all of my awards in the bird field. While at the world show I took a third in the masters with a sora rail. While there I took Cory Cruthers seminar. I was alittle late getting there so I miss some of the seminar. I really wanted to see the whole thing. A few weeks ago I called Cory and asked if he could teach me some things too improve my work. we worked out a price and off I drove to Iowa. What a good move that was. I was so impressed with this artist. He taught me so many things to do his way. This is the first and best pheasant I have ever mounted since I"ve been back home. Anyone wanting improve there skills should consider Corys class. Thanks Cory for the awesome time and allowing me to pick your brain. Bruce Owens

Although I haven't studied under Cory, I did attend his seminar at the WTC and man did he open my eyes on mounting a pheasant.  I'm sure his one-on-one is awesome.  Sure wish I could do it.

It's just like a squirrel without any hair.......oh, and you have to custom make your own bodies.
