Chad, I really like the look that your Rainbow has (in the photo that looks like it was taken outside) that Rick posted.

UFD, thanks for the compliment on my Rainbow.  The pics never do the fish justice, I just struggle with the photos.  I do think it is one of my better bows though.  Smiley  Your King is out of this world, but that is nothing new for you!!

Very nice work this week with a lot of diversity in species.

I've had a few PM's about Gary's musky caricature carvings. The "SHHH" carving is currently for sale. The "STUFFED TO THE GILLS" carving is not yet for sale. It's still being used in competition. There is one more named "OLD LURE COLLECTOR" shown below that is also for sale.

PM's are welcome....

Thanks for the interest in Gary's carvings. I'll pass on the kind words.

Grady, if you are looking for tips/ pinters/ critique, you need to start a new thread with this in it. we try and keep TWIFP critique free, but i am sure there are several people out there that would be happy to help you.

I'm not a taxidermist but as a carver I have learned alot from you guys.  I thought I'd share a recent carving based on what I learned from Rick Krane video and the use of Jeff Lumsden liquid scales.  I hope this isn't inappropriate but I do appreciate the help I have received here.

doug p-I'm guessing Gary's carvings are more profitable than actuall fish taxidermy.   Cheesy.  and he does some good fish work too that i've seen at your place.  lots of talent there and creativity.
