Do pussom ears have to be turned? I've never realized how thin they are until now. They are paper thin.

yes  use a small 6 in pair of hemostats and use like an ear opener

Actually you are correct FOR ONCE in that he didn't say that.  The next two posters, including the Krowtann guru elkhunter1313 mentioned the neutralizing.

That makes since. Thanks! What do you put in the ears to mount, bondo or ear liners? I've never seen possum ear liners.

On small game like that, I use a little apoxie sculpt . Squeeze it to the edges and squeeze out the excess.

Now that I have the ears covered, what about the tail? Since their tails are slick I wouldn't think splitting the tail to flesh it would be an option. So how do you flesh their tail?

not much fat in a possum tail  I just skinn em with a tail puller and fill with clay and a wire after tanning.  If you have to roll the clay out first with the wire in it and freeze  pump a lilttle caulk or hidepaste into the tail and the clay will slide right in   play with and adjust and abnormal shrinkage as it dries.

JUST INJECT THEM WITH A TANNING AGENT , ORE SALT WATER BEFORE SKINNING , THAN SQUEESE IT IN EVERY CORNER , WHAT FOR A HALF HOUR , AND TURN THEM , EASY JOB
