I heard through the wind that the PTA conveention was moved from March to February. It is moving to a giant ski resort called seven Springs i think is the name. This will be awesome with the skiiing and tubing. Ought to be some great photo opts for Howser and Brian. LOL Would like to know the parcticulars though as it is onlt about 15 weeks away!!!!!!

This is what it looks like for this year.

Febuary 24 to 28.   

Seven Springs Resort.

As of right now money is a bit snug and as far as I can see it I have to many trips planned for next year, BUT if I end up divorced I will be there for sure.LOL

Looks like i'm going to be fying in on the Friday before so you'll have a babysitter for a few days Brian Smiley

Kyle wants to also come this year and enter the competition, so I'm surprising him for Christmas & buying him a ticket to fly him up Tuesday evening & i'm buying Miranda a ticket to to come up Thursday evening.  We'll have the whole klan...opps sorry, I had a Perry Yeager moment...............I meant to say we will have the whole clan there Smiley

For me THAT STINKS!!! Those dates fall right at the end of my snow goose season in SE MO and I had started planning to be in Altoona this year. I missed it a couple of years ago with pneumonia. Guess I'll miss it this year while laying in the SE MO gumbo mud.

Why the change?   The PTA website still has it listed in March.  I thaught the PTA had a long term contract with the convention center.

Feb at Seven Springs could be very entertaining but also challenging weather on that mountain gets extreme. 
It is a beautiful place, we used to take our ski club there.
I guess see you in Feb.
