Adding Wrinkles in the face?
«
on:

Yesterday I was looking through bear pictures and I saw a nice picture of a lifesized bear drinking from water, but snarling somewhat. If I want to add wrinkles like that to the face to make the animal look like it is snarling, do I need to shorten my eye-to-nose measurement to give myself extra skin to taxi? If so, how do I determine how much?

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

Post this picture you're referring to .. I'd like to see this. Then I'll answer your question.
The short answer is no.
John.

Thanks for the help. I'm probably not going to mount it until the summer so the pictures you mentioned will definitely be helpful. Also, I do use dextrine based hide paste, so in that part we agree. I don't know if you remember, but you advised that I purchase that mammal book and it did end up teaching me a few things. You have always been very encouraging and helpful. Thanks.
