What do you guys thinks the best resin would be for deer antler replicas? Whats the strongest and most duriable stuff? what would be the wieght difference between the repro antler and the real one? if anything i would like the repros to wiegh more then the real antler instead of being lighter?....thanks

You will get many different opinions on which is the best we sell a couple of different types IE 3030 which is very durable and easy to use. We also have IE 3075 which is even stronger but is a little more expensive, but it should be degassed and pressurized for best results. You can add weight by the use of fillers. There are many different options available for antlers you will just need to use a few and decide which you like best. Some guys use the epoxy's which also makes nice antlers but the cost also goes up with those. Why do you need the weight to be more than the original antler's?

I dont really need the weight to be more than the original, i would just rather have it heavier then lightier but it really doesnt matter i just want a resin thats strong and fairly easy to work with...do you have to degass and pressurize most resins cuz i dont have anything to do that with?

With most you don't have to, although if you do you will get better results. It was just the IE 3075 that I was refering to that would need to be degassed. The IE 3030 makes a nice replica that is very strong.
