Hello my friends!!

Oh my...what a week!! Really many great bird's, lot's of new "members"...really a enjoyable week! You make me struggle week after week with chosing a picture to start over the new week!! But usually I found there one or two that really take's my attention...with basework or wiyh some personal reason. This isn't a competition, this is purely nice way to see many nice bird mounts, get inspirated and way to show you what kind of a mount makes me feel good..feel that taxidermy is something else than just a hobby... Wink

This week begins with an incredible mount by world known taxidermist,Shane Smith. Ok,he is a real pro...world champion. That doesn't matter when I chose this one. Only thing that matters is the beauty of that mount...the lifelike appearence of basework. All that together! Congratulations!! Hope we can see more work from beginners too. We all have mounted that very first bird..someone of us has come a long way after that...to be a world champion or a national champ, blue ribbon winner.

Have a nice week with birds and enjoy from all that talent we can see here week after week.....

I'm happy for that... JP Cheesy

JP, i am honored to have been selected. I am impressed with all of the work by the pros and the beginners. It takes me back to my moms kitchen table practicing on squirrels and learning. It is truly amazing what the internet has to offer for beginners and profesionals, there was nothing close to the info available then as their is today.
Thanks again... I am honored. Love the Euro guys work. unbelievable grooming as usual Wink

Here's a personal swan that came out really nice. No habitat on there yet.

Great choice for BOTW.   Gives me something to aspire towards.   Super birds, Alex M.  I love the pose on the sharpie.  Those snows are great also!   AAR - good looking swan, they are a royal pain.   Josh -  i think your pintail turned out more than pretty good!
