I have some formic acid thats about 2 years old.  It's never been opened... is it still ok to use? Does it have a shelf life?  Thanks for  your help.

Its basiclly the same, you should always check the pH with pH paper. add enough acid to drop the pH to 2.0.

Any pickle should be mixed to a pH of 2.0. then check the next day after the cape is moved around.
