matrial cost /time

I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to determine how much it would cost (in matrials) to do one euro mount like a Whitetail?
Or how much hands on time per mount? I'm not talking about time in degreasing, maceration, or beetles just when you are physically doing something to the mount.
I know micheal P is looking at 5 hours with his tutorial. minus simmer time. I tried to fine something in the archives with no luck.
Just curious. Thanks!

I've never figured materials but I'm guessing it's minimal. I think if you estimated 5 - 10 dollars you would be safe. As for labor, I've got mine down to less than 30 minutes.

Labor is pretty low, bugs do most of the work. I figure on 5 minutes to blow the brains out and put/remove from the freezer. Another 5 minutes if it's an antelope and I have to bag and sweat the horns. I'm still pretty hands on and check more often than is needed, but still < 1 hour doing water changes. All told probably between 45-90 minutes per head if I cut down to just what has to be done and quite poking around at them. I'm still new enough at it that I keep poking though.
Materials wise probably <$15. Better sometimes, I just bug'd 2 deer for a guy who wants me to stop at that point, so $100 to feed my bugs and $0 materials. I'd do that every day of the week if I could. Hell, I'd do it twice a day

I would say less than $10, with less than 90 min time wise on each WT

Yea I would say 5 hours if you are boiling and cleaning the skull by hand and are extremely maticulous. Would have a hard time charging only $100 if that was the case.
