i have a coyote that possibly doing a ped on.  I thought about rug or life size, but do not know the difficulty of any of them.  Which of the three would be easier for a beginner.  I have mounted three deer and a dozen or so birds.  Any input would be great.

A coyote pedestal is a lot less complex than a lifesize, or even a rug.

Cole is right. ped is your best bet. Do a simple closed mount to gain some understanding on the animal. You could also get a painted jaw set if you preferred to do it open mouth. Just get sum epoxy sculpt and paint to finish it out.
