Has anyone here made a reproduction big horn sheep ?
I have one set of horns and would love to duplicate it,, I am familiar with the smooth-cast products and have done some small reproductions as well off of bird heads and other stuff to practice,,, I use rebound or dragon skin on the item,, then the hard shell is from plasti-paste,, and I use smooth-cast 320 to pour in,,,,
my question is: Which one is easier,, make 1 piece mold of the sheep horn set or 2 piece (by doing each horn seperatley)....
if anyone has the experience and willing to share,,, Id appreciate it alot.
cheers

separate, if your pouring them solid. they will get heavy. It's much easier to join the two together and pour the skull or skull cap last.
