i to have had apoxie sculpt crack paul. on the bacl of my commercial mounts i usually use bondo or epo seam repaor putty. usually bondo. and then cut a straight line down the edges while it is still pliable and sand smooth before it really hardens bun is more of a gel

The problem with bondo is it's made to be be put on in thin layers. When using it for a seam it gets thicker than it's intended use. Hence, the cracking...

Brian, that is a hoot. Most of the fish I get in for repairs or repaints have duct tape and black primer on the seam. What happened to the good ol' days??? I agree with the bondo issue. It will invariably crack. I just make sure all my fish are fitted so perfectly that the seam is invisible! LOL
