I am hoping to get something cleared up...this is for all the taxidermists out there...I have been looking at different pedestal mounts (regular and wall) for the buck I shot this fall. Here are a couple pics of the buck for visual reference. In researching mounts I have found that there are many different styles of molds in terms of artists (Matt Thompson, Dennis Behn, Joe Meder, etc.) who designed them but what I cant figure out is if they are making these molds for specific regions of the country or are they just very general (made to fit any deer). The reason I'm asking is because if this is the case (that they gear molds towards whitetails in specific areas) then I would like to look into who is making them for a midwest look - I dont want the buck to look like one of those skinny necked texas deer (nothing against texas deer) when I shot it in the midwest. Could anyone give me a suggestion on who makes an excellent forum for midwest region deer? Thanks for any help or suggestions

Mental toughness is many things. It is humility because it behooves all of us to remember that simplicity is the sign of greatness and meekness is the sign of true strength. Mental toughness is spartanism with qualities of sacrifice, self-denial, dedication. It is fearlessness, and it is love.
