Well here are the pair of trout I just finished up from last week. Both are repros with rocks I molded using Josh's silicone rock mold tutorial.

Thanks.. I picked up the sticks in a river by the house and pinned them with epoxy . Then just molded a bunch of rocks out of bondo and epoxyed them around the base. It looks really neat on the mantel above the fireplace.

Sadly no...molding a fish will be my next step in my process to creating a mount that is all made by me....just need some specimen to work with .....is there any where I can buy trout to mold?Huh

go to the suppliers link. look for the specimens link then check with cecil baird. Bairds fish taxidermy... Or check with any hatcheries you have in your area.  Best I know of.

Thanks Randy....I really need to start molding my own fish..better control of quality...My brother caught me some nice 30" steelhead and a 18" male brown the other day so I need to get them from him to mold up.
