For taxidermy purposes what is the best way to skin Bobcats and Fox. I normally just do a quick tube skin from the Hind Legs to the Head, but this is just to sell to local fur buyer. I know there are Tutorials on here for Ventral and Dorsal Skinning. Which do most of you prefer?

It really depends on the pose that you plan to use. Is the back, belly, ect going to show in the finished mount. Then make a decision how to skin at that point.

A fox or bobcat should have plenty of hair to hide the incision no matter where it is.. I prefer dorsal just because its easy to slip the skin on the form like a pair of jeans..
