what people do around you, yes does affect your business.
If you have 4 newbies pop up charging $250 to $325,  people are going to try them out, those were heads I could have had,  yes they will see what their $250 deer heads looks like and not go back, but it does effect me for that year. 
Remember, what we do, is a luxury for people, not a nessessity.
I wish I could raise prices every year, but where do you draw the line,  there is a max $ that every area will support,
