I just finished carving my first climbing up squirrel form. What is the best way to make a mothermold, so that I can make some urethane forms from it while I am learning to mount squirrels. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Depending on the complexity of the pose you could use fiberglass and polyester resin.
Fiberglass and polyester resin is strong enough to handle the casting process without distortion during the foaming process.

You will want to rig the flanges of the mold with holes for bolts of use c clamps or even vicegrips during the molding process.
Also you will want to wax the mold thoroughly and possible spray a coat of PVA over the wax.
