Rotten bear skull
«

A bear was shot on our hunting lease a week ago. They called tonight and said they had found the bear. I am going tomorrow and try to get the head. What would be the best thing to do as far as trying to clean the skull, I 'm sure it smells pretty bad by now. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have read a lot of the stiuff about maceration already. My main concern is it will be going in the bucket whole with no prep work. Will everything rot off eventually or will I need to remove it and clean and then return it to the bucket?
