I'm pretty sure I read on this forum the formula of peroxide, baking soda and dawn detergent in equal amounts give or take.  I've used it.  It didn't totally eliminate the smell but knocked it down to bearable.  Don't cover it either as I remember that it can pop on you if you do.   Good luck.

I feel your pain. I shot one onm my front poarch ( bad idea) and it discharged. When I grabbed it to remove it I walked through the fluid. It soaked into the rubber of my shoes. I took a plastic shoe box and poured white vinegar into it, just enough to cover the soles of my shoes. I let it soak for 2 days and they were stink free. The skunk also sprayed my front door. I saturated the area with vinegar and hosed it down. It removed the smell. Thankfully we were remodeling the house at the time.  Smiley

I shot one and it made it under my house to die.  Horrible.  We had to wipe everything down in my house with Vinegar.  After playing my guitar, even my fingers smelled like skunk.  Had to wipe my strings down too.

Just use Nature's Miracle.  You can get it at coop or pet grooming store.

It ELIMINATES the odor.

Trust me.
