partially.....mostly. I don't skin the head. Almost impossible.

I just did 3 gators and yes, they will eat it. If they dont eat the scales on top of the head between the eyes, either soak the skull in water for a few days then scrape them off or let it dry completely and they will flake off. Have fun with the teeth!!

i did an eight inch alligator head last year, the beetles took awhile but they were eating it, my impatience got the best of me so i macerated, but they would have eventually got it, yes the teeth are a pain to keep in the right places!

I did 6 for a guy in south texas.  The biggest being 24"...and the beetles wiped it out in 3 days.

They like alligator!  Lol
