Mr.T is very happy!

Now I have to eat some crow, I said the other day that passing little bucks for years in my little woods didn't improve anything,,,,, until to night!
He's no monster, but this is my best so far, for what I have to hunt on. One shot, double lung, just before dark.

You guys both have that "deer in the headlights" look.
Young deer should always be for the future, not the present.......If you can help it. Congrats!

OK, Paul, one very serious question: Aren't you delighted some dumbass didn't shoot that deer when it was only a year and a half old?

Yes, who knows, maybe it was me that passed on him 3 years ago.
I got to say, this year, the sides of our 10 acre woods was tore up the most I have ever seen it in 30 years. There is corn on two sides, and alfalfa on one side, and the neighbors woods on the other side. This morning I noticed that all the scrapes were opened back up over night, telling me he was still around. I have no idea where he was hiding the last 6 days while I was there from sun up to sun down each day.
