I thought maybe it would be great to see a thread for this year's kills when they are mounted up and finished. I am sure some of you have some great ideas for the finished product. However, I will not be posting pics for a while, can't get to mine just yet!(LOL) Great job everyone and maybe we can get this started sometime when we're over the madness.

I look forward to seeing some of the work posted up!! It seems to take me a couple years to get my stuff done. My mountain lion is still laying in the freezer from two years ago this Dec.

I never even got my bucks from last year mounted yet. I've already started on deer from this year. I'm just gonna have to take a weekend and do some of my own stuff. This should be a great thread.

This past June I just said the heck with it and did all my own stuff that has been in the freezer for 1-6 years. I did my bears from 2005 and 2006 and the last 5 bucks I shot. I am not going to let my own stuff sit any more. I made up an invoice for the buck I shot this year, and when my number comes up, I am going to do it just like I was a customer.

I was thinking with so many big bucks taken by taxi-netters, that we need one with all the big bucks in one place. Kind of like the a (2009 big deer by taxi-netters post) Congratulations to all who have taken their deer this year. Nothing for me so far this archery season.

Jesse,
We have our (hunting pics post) for all that we take while hunting, I was just thinking out loud, because of how well everyone is doing on whitetails this year. Some really nice bucks have been taken, and I hope before the season is over, I can add to that list.

This is a great Idea, although I think the one that Matt arrowed this year will be hard to top. Maybe my hunting luck will change in the morning. The corn is getting cut fast.
Good luck all.

This is great guys, and now I don't feel so bad about never getting my own stuff together. I get the urge to do my stuff as it is another pose in the showroom to sell!(LOL) Bruce, you have the right idea, I am going to do that. It will still be awhile unless I number it before the gun season in two weeks. Thanks for the kind words Scott, but there were alot bigger bucks taken than mine. Did you see ChadF's, absolute pig of a deer. Well, I guess we can dig this post up when someone gets their buck mounted up.
