How soon after a duck is mounted should the feet be injected with Master Blend?

Some do it the same day it's mounted, but I like to wait till the day after.

Here is a question I have. What size needles do you use to inject ducks feet and where should I get them. When I was taught how to mount ducks last year, the guy was a diabetic and had small needles. Obviously he could get those needles easily being diabetic, but I'm not so I just can't go out and get them at will.
