whitening a mule deer (pics) help

I can't tell if the dark spots between the eyes are grease and needs to go back in the degrease or it is something that can be airbrushed or is that considered a no no by most. I don't think I have a problem with it as long as it doesn't look painted.
I would appreciate any help, thanks!

I would say yeah its grease.....depends though. That part takes awhile to dry, was that fully dried before the pic?
