Hope this isn't a dumb question but which do you do? Do you take your measurements of the deer before you skin it or afterwards? I have noticed that it is done both ways and was wondering which would be the most accurate for ordering the form.

I measure after skinned but I wait to order form and get my final measurement from the tanned hide, they should be close.

Wait and take your measurements after it has been tanned.
