this is a young polecat in tis natural surroundings
Took some time to mount this little predator
Please tell me your remarks

Very nice mount, Henk!  Nice pose and expression!  I like the setting for it also ... very natural!

Fred, why would you call a Raccoon a Polecat? Huh  In this country Skunks are Polecats.  A Polecat is a member of the Weasel tribe, which includes Ferrets, Mink, Marten, Fisher, Badger, Otter, Zorilla or African Polecat ... but NOT the Raccoon.  The Raccoon relatives include the Coatimundi, and Cacomistle or Ringtail Cat.

Again Henk ... very nice mount!

Is that your usual colour for a polecat, ours are very different. That looks more typical of our mink. (UK)

They come in different colours from black to more yellow
this is a very young one and they are dark of colour

Hi, nice looking mount but looks like a Mink to me. Face markings are wrong for a Polecat....

 Grin it's a polecat Cool  the young un's have a darker look than the adult's Wink i used to keep and breed them.. Cool
