Very nice mount, Henk! Nice pose and expression! I like the setting for it also ... very natural!
Fred, why would you call a Raccoon a Polecat?
In this country
Skunks
are Polecats. A Polecat is a member of the Weasel tribe, which includes Ferrets, Mink, Marten, Fisher, Badger, Otter, Zorilla or African Polecat ... but NOT the Raccoon. The Raccoon relatives include the Coatimundi, and Cacomistle or Ringtail Cat.
Again Henk ...
very
nice mount!
John.

Is that your usual colour for a polecat, ours are very different. That looks more typical of our mink. (UK)

Hi, nice looking mount but looks like a Mink to me. Face markings are wrong for a Polecat....
