Been a while since I've posted any of my new mounts. But I thought I'd share this one, since its a first for me! It's a juvenile badger I'll be entering in a competion in Februrary.  I just mounted it today, so it's still wet and I can make adjustments if needed, if anyone sees any problems or areas that can be improved.

pert plus shampoo wash it then rinse then blow dry to fluff up.  then just check the eye work using ref pics on the internet and maybe have the toes/claws closer together.

Thanks for the tips! I did actually fluff him a bit before taking the picture, the hair was soaking wet when I first mounted it. It's dried out some more though, so I'll give him a better grooming job. I've since ajusted the toes better too.

I know the habitat is not ideal, I am not even entering this one in the habitat division at the competition. It was seriously hard to find desert-like plants at the store this time of year--all they had really was Christmas decorations in the aisle where I usually get my plants! But I found those little shrub-type things in the back somewhere, and added a few armadillo bones, I figured it was better than nothing.

And I have groomed him better, I'll have new pictures up soon, I am waiting for him to finish drying so I can paint him.
