What do you find to be your client's average....

Just curious, what do you find to be your clients average time/days between harvesting their animal and bringing it in to you? Obviously we tell them, the sooner the better. But we we all know that isn't how it works all the time. I'm also not referring to if a client puts their harvest in the freezer for a couple months, then brings it in. I'm referring to how long it takes them to clean it, tote it around in their truck, show their buddies at the bar, big buck contests, etc, etc.
Since I record the harvest date and the order date, I started looking at this. I think 3-4 days is about the average here. Of course during these days I pray they try to keep it cool. Most times of the time it either hangs in their garage or sits on their garage floor for 3-4 days. I'm also in Iowa where they can usually get away with the cooler temps. What do you find to be your clients average?

Depends on who processes it. Some come right away and some may be a week. They also come cut different and with no neck or the whole neck.

Had a pheasant come in one time that was still twitching...LOL. I particularly enjoy the ones that hang their deer in the barn or outside for 2 weeks to "age" and then bring in what the birds and neighborhood pets have left.

My workorder has a line for "harvest date" and "date presented" so I have some pretty accurate info as to the time. 90% of the time they drop off next day.
