I have a pheasent to skin and would like to try mounting it. What is the best way to skin and prep this bird for a full mount?

You are going to have to spend more time researching bird taxidermy than just throwing that question out there.  Hook up with someone who does birds or get a video.  Run a search of the forum and you will get all sorts of hints and tips.
