i finally understand when you guys say it takes patients with ducks.  im still practicing but i did a pintail today. one of the fattest ducks ive done so far.  it sucked cuz i didnt realize that some spots were fatty'er than others so when i got to the thin areas i burned a hole in it.. in all there were about twenty holes some a lot smaller than others but i took time tonight to sew all the holes up. normaly if the feathers looked a little greasy i would just mount it as is.. tonight i took extra time to re wash it and put it back in the tumbler.. i can all ready tell its going to be a good one. just thought i would tell you how excited i am right now.. its still tumbling but when its done ill post a picture of it.. ha ha YES Grin

The most terrifying sound in nature is not the roar of a charging lion, nor the whistle of a descending bomb; rather it is a click when you expect a bang!!

Great news!
When you start on a duck, they are usually wet and grimy. Then, they get greasy from fleshing. It really is exciting when you finally get the duck nice and fluffy and clean.  I can't wait to see the pictures!

Always wash the birds twice.. I wash and rinse then wash again, then rinse untilt he water is clear.. should there be any soap left in the bird rinse again.. Then when you tumble it will be fine. Just sew the holes.

When I see Obama bumper sticker, I know the academic standard has lowered!

Thought for today!
"Apparently, I'm supposed to be more angry about what Mitt Romney does with his money than what Barack Obama does with mine."
