Hey everyone! I have a customer this year that brought in a Whitetail for a shoulder mount. The issue is, is that there is a Hemclock branch that was stuck in his antlers. I am just trying to figure out which method would be best to preserve the branch from the needles falling out. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance! Todd

I do not think you can preserve needles at all.  You may need to find an artificial.

I was worried about that...havent been able to find any artificial hemlock branches either...WTH

I haven't seen hemlock branches but there are some pretty convincing firs and spruces out there. Maybe you could trim them down a little bit to simulate hemlock.
You can save the woody part of the branch and wire some different needles to it. It won't be 100% exact, but it would be pretty close.

Check out Balsam Hill. They have a sample pack of their high-end artificial Christmas tree varieties for $17.00.
