Does anyone know a method to clean old soft tanned furs?  The soil is just from age and  handling, no other contaminants. They are just tanned skins not mounted, used for a trappers exhibit. They would like me to clean them, but I am not coming up with any methods that I am satisfied with.  Thanks, Scott

Take a rag with odorless mineral spirits and wipe them down. This will cut any dirt, grime or oils from handling and also shine up the fur nicely.
