ok just trying to tann something and it says 6 ounces baking soda, well i don't have a scale so anyone know how many cups that is?/

It says 6 ounces. Since it is speaking of a DRY product and not a liquid then I would assume that they are referring to WEIGHT,  not volume. The two kinds of ounces are NOT the same thing at all.

I truly wish that the instructions on ... well, on a LOT of products, actuallly .... would be more specific.

Referencing the dry vs wet measurements, I just recently went to a commercial restaurant supply place to ask the same question.  I was told that yes there is a difference between them but it wasn't that significant to make a difference.  i ended up going to Home Depot and in thier paint section they sell a plastic measurement container in ounces.  So far it's been working fine.
