Wish I knew of this sooner. I don't think I can get the time off to make it up there. I sure would like to. Maybe next year.

From talking to Tom , This sounds like its going to be a great show & this year they are going to have an NTA santioned event.

I heard that the Fur Rondevous is in town that weekend & that is a fun time also.

I cant wait.

You STILL HAVE about 6 weeks to mount something for the show , so as a buddy of mine says Geterdone.

Any chance of Crusty posting some photos from last year's SCI banquet? He took me out for an Italian dinner back then. One taste of the gravy told me the cook wasn't an Eskimo nor was the mozzarella made with cottage cheese or yogurt. So I asked to meet the chef and where do you think the guy comes from? Right here in Union City, NJ! No kidding either.
Study up on your references RJ. Those Alaska taxidermists had every thing mounted from banteng to zebras. I also hope you get to see the polar bear that Tom Mudgett did.

Sounds like a good time.

Hopefully the folks can dig through the snow banks & make it.

PS I will be driving so all of my reference is coming with me, he he.

On anouther side I realy hope the Alaska association takes of, because I have seen first hand what a state association can be if the folks will just try to make it work.

Myself & my son Tyler are both joining there club & plan on competeing at their show next year.

Good luck to all.

There are photos of last years banquet on the Alaska Chapter SCI website.

Go to the drop down part of the banquet for banquet photos. Just found that myself.
