Becky got some questions.

Do reproduction reptiles compete with skin mount reptiles?  Or is there a separate category for reproduction reptiles?  I see categories for * fish  * reptiles  * reproductions....so do fish and reptile reproductions compete against each other?

And from the site:  Who May Compete: All members of the TTAI, any state bordering Texas, may compete in this division, proof of membership must be shown at registration  Arizona does not border Texas...so can I still compete?

And if I am a member of the Arizona Taxidermy Artists Assoc (ATAA), is that in lieu of being a member of TTAI?  If so, I don't have proof as we don't have membership cards.

Thanks, I will get my registration in before 20 June.

Kerby, I believe "reproductions" covers fish, reptiles, and amphibians.
Since you are not a member from a bordering state, you'll need to join the TTAI, then you can compete. Your ATAA membership would only be in lieu of the TTAI IF it were a bordering state. (I see the wording there needs to be clarified and I will bring that up to the Board.)

You have missed a darn good one so far.   Also thanks to the Dr. McBride and the BOD's for ALWAYS coming through for your membership.   You are always looking to make things better for the membership and you seem to pull that goal off better every year!

Just wasn't possible for me to make it this year, but it's gonna be on the calendar for next year.   I hope to see some pictures though.

Michael, I always enjoyed the Texas show, I miss making that trip !!
Every Texas show as attended was first class and I am sure it still is !!
One year I believe it was at Arlington. I was helping Cary judge and when we were done I went to a minor league baseball game. The stadium was right by the taxidermy show. Am I correct thinking it was Arlington ??
But I always had a good time there & everyone even treated us 'yankees" o.k.   Grin

Just wanna say a Congratulations to my dear husband, Danny Owens!  He did very well at the Texas show- Best of Show, Best of Category, Best of Masters, Carlos Adams award!  It was definitely worth the quick trip I made to Kerrville!  Had several ask if he was going to the NTA- yeah right!
