baby eagles

Years ago I raised silkies to incubate exotic pheasant eggs. My puppy killed a bunch of them and not wanting to waste them, I mounted them.
I had them on display in my shop and some woman saw them through the window and STORMED into my shop. Furious with me for mounting "baby eagles" I couldn't help but laugh at her and that made her more angry. I told her what they were but she wasn't believing me and threatened to call the Fish & Game. I told her to please call them, because the look on their faces would be priceless. She finally believed me.

I just now saw this post and it made me laugh.
I have a surplus of silkies, including a few that need to be culled ... It would be funny to morph them into baby raptors.

90 % of the general public are idiots when it comes to identifying anything that isn't a major game animal. most of them can't even correctly ID a fish.

We saw an outdoor channel show the other day as they joked about the loon they were trying to snag with multiple casts...many times calling it a loon....it was a grebe..
