Hello, I was wondering if there was an easy way to locate job openings in the taxidermy industry. I attended MVST taxidermy school and have done about a dozen heads since ive been home. I am looking to work in a shop somewhere. Just cant find a good source to find job openings. Thanks in advance for any help.

I can't recall which magazine it was; Taxidermy Today or Breakthrough? One of them always has Want Ads in them.

A lot of the bigger shops hire, Animal Artistry in Reno took a few studests from Piedmont when I was there. Dont expect to jump into a Taxidermist position I'm sure you would start doing grunt work but it would be worth the experience. Ask RDA on this site I'm sure he can give you advice.

thanks for the reply. I do not expect to jump right into mounting animals. I just want something to get my foot in the door for right now. i checked in the breakthrough magazine and there are a few ads in there and saw that animal artistry was looking. Thank you again for the help.
