Bending molded fin

Ok, i am new at this whole molding fish. Last night i just cast my first fish, or first anything for that matter. I did the bondo and polystyrene method. Now i am going to pull my first fish this week sometime but anyway. I have not molded the fins yet. so my question is do i have to put the bends in them now or can i do that after. I will be making them out of the poly and fiberglass. Thanks for the help!!

Fins can be bent after then are casted, and are usually molded in a neutral position. But they can be molded bent as well depending on your ability to lay them in a natural position. I would recommend an epoxy or urethane plastic to cast the fins in.  Fiberglass fins snap real easy.
