Need help finding a striped bass artificial head
«

I need a replica for a stripped bass head that measures 12" x 9" x 6 1/2. I've looked online and through catalogs, but can't seem to find one that will fit. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Mold it, go get some check silicone caulk and mold the head with it. if you take your time it will make a pretty good head.

I wish I could. I usually mold my fish with plaster/fix-all, but this time I was low on fix-all so I used straight plaster. Now I remember why I used fix-all. The plaster broke. I've molded other things with silicone thinned with xylene, but I usually do fish differently. I rarely get a fish in that needs it, maybe one or two a year, so it's been awhile and I guess I got sloppy. I figured I could always order a head, but now I'm having trouble finding the right one.

check with Bill leach, Caribou supply 208-267-5331. He has added a couple smaller ones to his line that are great and was working on some larger ones. Don't know if they are done yet.
