If I am going to get slippage thats where it will be .  I turn the ears and salt both side. But 1 in 10 I will get slippage. Some times its a lot and sometimes its just small amount.
I try to turn the ear ea day in the pickle,  so both sides get great pickle coverage.  Any ideas?? I get them salted same day I get them  and in pickle 2 days later.

I'm definately no expert but I had the same problem with a lynx and was told by expirenced posters it was becuase I took too long turning them and the heat from my hands caused it. I now try to turn them with as little hand contact to the inside as possable.
