Currier's Knife
«
on:

My husband is looking for a really good quality currier's knife. He isn't comfortable with a round knife. He is a straight blade man. Probably fleshed 40 thousand critters in the past 30 years. So, where can we find one?

I have a old antique Currier's knife and it will be difficult to find one of that quality these days...the key is the quality of the steel in the blades and the grind. I have yet to find any that compare let alone someone to turn them correctly. Good luck and let us know, I like to play with mine every now and then. It makes me appreciate the round knife...LOL

Thanks Bill, I will check that out. And hounddoggy, we do use good razor blades bout for the larger parts, they don't make sense.
