I'll try to post here  the works I do after I finish every, to update this page.

I would like very much for find  moose antler carvers associations, club etc..found many links of wood carvers, nothing of moose antler carvers.Sad
I would be grateful if you know such links to share, Am wishing very much to hold professional discussions with the carvers and sharing experience.

Is half of the bear done in wood and added to the carving for better depth, as well as the dog and tree he is attached too?

Gatorjaw,

in the carving "The bear and the dog" the bear is pure moose antler, it is carved into it (the so-called relief carving).
And the hunting dog is made of wood (apple tree), when such extra figures are made of antler too the price can be just increased nearly twice as much.
That is that.
