Check your state laws before you offer up items for sale,Make sure you are complying with your state laws on what you are allowed to do.
a local taxidermist recently got busted in a sting on ebay for selling Items not legal for resale in Wisconsin, looks like it will cost him $20,000.00 and 5 years licence revocation, for shipping Items out of state. If they are watching ebay they are watching Taxi-Net. Just thought you'd like to know.

Hmm, well if they weren't legal to sell and he was selling them, what do you THINK should happen?

Exactly.
Ignorance of laws is NO excuse. It only takes a few minutes to find out if you can or can't sell certain things in your state.
I realize you are just trying to help, but some just ask for it.

Just some weird stuff like squirrel skulls, coon skulls, frog bones. Stuff that can not be sold in Wisconsin or leave the state. I have no problem with him getting busted what he did was not legal, But alot of states have different laws on antler sales ect. Just be sure that you know what your doing before you sell  out of state and end up shipping across state lines and violate the law. That is my point.

He should fight it in court and sue the state for ruining his business for no reason. Give me a break....coon and squirrel skulls? Are you serious? Those are two of the most overpopulated animals around. I remember a guy at a National Trappers Covention one year that got busted for selling a pair of f-ing coyote teeth canines to an undercover officer. Can't remember the state but it was a hefty fine. What a bunch of baloney.

Pennsylvania............the last time i talked to the Pa. Game Commission they told me it was legal to sell an item that you get stiffed on as long as you send them a certified letter, stating that they have to pick up the mount in a certain amount of days according to your contract, once the time elapses the mount becomes my property and i could sell the mount to recoup my losses, and i must retain a copy of the contract, certified letter, and receipt of sale as proof in case they ask for it.

So, just because you don't like the rules and they're stupid means that it's ok to break them, right?

And we wonder why our kids are so messed up, they can't know the difference between right and wrong when their parents say to NOT break the law, oh... wait... unless it's something THEY think is ok.

That use to be true, but with all the states making up laws and it taking a lawyer to read these laws written by lawyers it is not true any longer.

We had a game warden at our state show say even he has no clue what the regs. are because he cannot even read them.

When I see Obama bumper sticker, I know the academic standard has lowered!

Thought for today!
"Apparently, I'm supposed to be more angry about what Mitt Romney does with his money than what Barack Obama does with mine."

John that's why ANY questions I have I do through emails (which I save). That way I have something to cover my butt with if there are any problems down the road.

Honestly, I don't have an answer why your kids are so messed up.

I'll have to remember this one. If I get pulled over and the cop says "you were doing 90 in a 40" I'll just say "I wasn't looking for speed limit signs, so you should just let me go because I didn't know" Roll Eyes Cheesy Cheesy
