Those are great. Seems great lakes fish reference is hard to come by for some reason. Thanks for sharing.

I'm looking for some reference pics of the mouth detail of a male brown trout. I checked the reference section and there
is one that will help somewhat, but I'm hoping somebody has a few more.

For those that don't believe that paper towels or cloth leave texture imprints just look at the close-up of the mandible. those lil dimples are not supposed to be there.

Dang, and I thought I was done. Now I have to go back and rework the mouth of a fish I'm almost done painting. I 'd hate to have this thing bite me, and the tougue, man thats ugly. Very beautiful and helpful photos.
