Check out
www.AmericanTaxidermyOnline.com
(American Institute of Taxidermy). These are online classes that you can take in the comfort of your own home, and learn at your own pace. They offer a huge variety of fish, mammals, birds etc. I went to the school myself, and Dennis is a wonderful teacher. You can look at my web site to see some of the work I have done after completing my classes.

Critter sorry for not getting back to you sooner. One recommendation I have is to join the Oklahoma Taxidermy Association and go to their show. It is a blast and you will get a chance to meet some of the finest taxidermist in the country. Don't be shy introduce yourself to them, tell them you want to learn and you are looking for someone to learn from. I'm sure someone near you is probably will be able to teach you anything and everything you need. Also at the show you will get to attend seminars where the pros teach a class dedicated to their specialty. It's a great time, you'll have fun. Take plenty of notes and pictures. Don't be shy... Being shy cheats yourself from learning. Feel free to get up and take pictures and ask questions. It will be one of the best investments you make while starting your taxidermy career. Dan
