This school has taught me more than I could have ever learned on my own. Bill is a great instructor he can brake it down so anyone can learn what he is teaching. The class is a blast you can have fun and learn at the same time. If you are looking to go to a school you need to call Bill. Mounting the game that you want is a great idea. If the game you will mount most are deer then why go to a school that will make you mount something else. Bill will find the game you want to mount and I say THANK YOU BILL for a wonderful experience.

Thanks Wess, I thought id better include a picture of your first Mountain Lion. With this kind of quality, "Chasing Tales Taxidermy" will be a great success.

i would like to thank bill and his wife for the best time of my life, at first i was worried that i would not learn what i needed to start my new taxidermy business but once i came and talked with them they eased my worries, now that I'm at the end of the class i would tell every one that if you take there class don't worry they really know how to teach, i new nothing about taxidermy before i came all i had was the want to learn now when i get home i have all the skills and nohow to start and run my shop and i can say that they started out to be my teachers but now they are friends, i would like anyone that want to learn from the best to call you will be happy you did thanks again charlie

Thanks Rick, that means a lot coming from another instructor. Isnt teaching about the most rewarding job you can imagine? Being able to pass on what we know to others who are similarly inclined and then watch them go on to be a success.
Im really intrigued with some of your methods of carving bodies and painting, especially hand painting the undertones. Have you ever released a "how to" DVD or published anything on any of your methods?
The mounts that your first timers are putting out are beyond belief!
Also a "Big Fan of great work!"
Bill

To The Second Nature Taxidermist! What a blast I had in school. Bill and Terry were the best. If you had a problem, they were there to help. I really enjoyed the class. They helped in learning to problem solve. I know that not all hides that come through the door are going to be perfect, but that's o.k. My elk cape had a ear that had a 2" x 5" bald spot, but because these guys were their, they helped teach me a few techniques to fix those spots, now nobody notices. They also have an open door policiy that I am gratefull for. Just because you graduate, doesn't mean you can't keep in contact. I highly recommend the school to everyone. And I never thought that duck would ever come out that good... Thanks bill and Terry!!

Brian Peters with some of the mounts he completed in school. You may have seen Brian on the outdoor channel guiding Sheep, Moose, Caribou and Grizzly hunts for Pioneer Outfitters in Alaska.
